Anticipation Completion: September 2017

Based in an historic 1884 Burlington home, the Chabad Jewish Community Center has been a strong contributing resource to the Main Street / College Street Historic District.  In addition to being a location for worship, this community center provides a daycare service, kosher catering and food service to the University of Vermont campus, and temporary housing for students.  Stewart Construction is honored to work with the Chabad Jewish Community Center to design and build a 5,500 square foot addition adjacent to the existing building.  This two-level expansion will consist of a new worship sanctuary on the upper level, a library, offices and other support spaces on the lower level.
